What is STUDIO ZOO
STUDIO ZOO is located at city center of Sakae Nagoya, and offering various genres of dance lessons. With more than 20 years in business, we’re very happy to be known as the pion eer of dance movement in Nagoya. Thank you for watching this page, and we would like to see you soon!
PROGRAMS
STUDIO ZOO is providing various genres and levels of classes. If you’re not fluent with Japanese, don’t worry. We have English-Speaking instructors, and they will fully support maximizing your experience. You can also join any other lessons too, since all classes do not require fluency in Japanese. Basic movements will be instructed in English (e.g. up, down, left, and right) and rhythm count will be also in English (e.g. one, two, and three). Our classes open every day from around 3PM (on weekdays)・11:30AM (on weekends) to 10PM. Feel free to call “Yuko” for details.

I started dancing when I was 18, and went to NY when I was 22. In this two years in NY, I learned dance technics and how to express myself. I will teach in detail, but also let my students dance freely to maximize their own characters. I would like to teach everything, I have learned in my career, to my students.

CLASSES
Classes we have are :
・Jazz Dance
You can train your body for dancing firstly by learning the basic exercises.Each instructor has exclusive
choreography from slow-style to MTv Music Video Style.Especially, jazz Ⅰ ・ Ⅱ classes are the standard
classes for any students and you can learn the basic skills regardless of you dance experience.
・HipHop
We teach how to get into the up-down rhythm. Our choreography includes from the basic steps to full
body-control in order to provide understandable classes to our students.
・Ballet
This class focuses on basic skills for Ballet(Turning, Jumping, and
Balancing etc.) This is an essential class for dancers regardless of your level.
・HipHop Jazz Kids
For Kids between the ages of 3 to 12 years old. This class uses the latest music and mainly teaches MTv Music Video Style choreography. Instructors for this class are one female instructor and 2 assistants.
・Battle Jam Kids
Our instructors for this class are one professional male instructor who has over 15 years experience of teaching kids and two female assistants.This class mainly focuses on basic skills. You can enjoy your child’s improvement in dancing in the annual exhibition.
・Junior Jazz
This class is for juniors who want to be professional dancer in the future.
You can learn the basic skills and the power of expression.
